Tandberg SLR Tape Drives

capacities from 2.5 up to 100GB* and up to 36GB/hr* transfer rates, SLR
tapes offer reliable backup solutions for everything from standalone
systems to high volume, high speed enterprise requirements.
SLR drives are the best kept secret in the computer industry! Standard
equipment on such things as IBM AS/400 systems and Northern Telecom
switches, these highly reliable, well supported, low cost drives are

SLR Tape Alternatives
We now offer "tape drives" that write to Flash Cards instead of tape
media - so no moving parts, instant access to anywhere on the "tape"

emulate any model of SLR drive, so they are a "plug & play"
replacement for your current drive.

Capacities up to 192GB* and 8.6GB/hr* transfer rate can be achieved
with integration into the SLR24 Autoloader. The soft-load mechanism on
the Tandberg SLR24 adds data-security by preventing unauthorized access
to the cartridge, and allows integration of the tape drive into
autoloader systems for unattended backup, archival, or near-line
storage.
