RAID Level
When you order a SabreMedia pack, specify its RAID level so that when your SabreMedia arrives, you don’t have to do anything except to start using it.
RAID 0: One copy of data striped across multiple disks; fast, uses 100% of capacity, but no redundancy.
RAID 1: Data is mirrored between two disks; requires twice the capacity, but fully redundant.
RAID 1+0: One Data set striped (RAID-0) accross multiple sets of mirrored (RAID-1) disks; requires twice the capacity, but is very fast and highly fault-tolerant.
RAID 5: One copy of the data, along with parity, is striped across multiple disks; can rebuild if a disk is lost; has more usable space than RAID 1 while providing redundancy.
