NAStape
Affordable iSCSI tape drives for network backup without fibre
NOTE: You can convert any existing SCSI tape drive or library to iSCSI
by using our low cost, high performance iSCSI Bridge.
NAStape is a networked tape drive that uses inexpensive Gigabit Ethernet to connect to the host(s). Ethernet simplifies host connection and allows sharing of the tape drive over the LAN. Configured with one drive and R45 1000BaseT port, NAStape is available in AIT, LTO, and SDLT models.
With remote management and Spectra Logic's 3-year, replacement service, QuickSwap, NAStape offers exceptional value and performance in workgroup, Web, e-commerce, pre-press and desktop publishing, video and GIS environments.
NAStape is qualified for interoperability with the Windows platform under the "Designed for Windows Logo Program" for iSCSI devices and supports major backup and archive applications. The NAStape is also qualified for interoperability with NAS devices. Users can purchase an optional NDMP license for NAStape to back up NAS devices. Tape drives in NAStape are "library ready", for allowing for factory installation in Spectra Logic tape libraries as your needs grow to require automation.
