HP 88780 9-Track Tape Drive

The HP 88780B front-loading nine-track tape drive offers high reliability, low maintenance and board-level diagnostics to minimize service requirements.

The Autoload feature automatically centers any standard size reel from 6 to 10.5 inches, locks the reel and then threads the tape. The 512-Kbyte cache buffer helps maintain streaming performance even during start-stop application.
