DATA ENCRYPTION
Avax International offers data encryption units: hardware units designed to encrypt / decrypt data on the fly between a host system and a high speed SCSI tape drive. For local systems we also offer software to securely encrypt local disk drives.

DES or AES encryption:
The Paranoia range uses the well proven DES3 (3DES2) or AES encryption algorithms allied with specialist SCSI interface and control to produce a plug and play solution for any standard SCSI tape drive in use today. Paranoia2 builds on this using a unique dual interlaced version of DES3 along with powerful pre compression to ensure a truly high speed solution. Paranoia3 uses AES128, 192 or 256 user selectable encryption.
