Half inch tape drives are no longer being manufactured. However, Avax can still provide a wide range of refurbished tape drives for a variety of applications (see www.avax.com/hp9t.html) as an example. Avax Half-Inch Tape Drives
We also offer emulation units that will allow you to replace your obsolete 1/2" drive with a unit that writes the data to readily available flash memory cards. This will allow you to continue to use your existing software but get rid of the 1/2" tapes. For more information, please click here.

3480/3490/3490E COMPATIBLE TAPE DRIVESThe last manufacturer of 3480/3490/3490E compatible tape drives has now stopped production.
